The Team
Our dedicated children's entertainers provide a wide variety of kids' party themes across London and the South East. All are DBS-checked professional actors or teachers (or both) who love what they do!
Danny Nutt, founder, director and associate entertainer / DJ
Danny seems to spend most of his Saturdays now flitting between various alter egos and manning the decks for a Nutty's Disco. He also loves a good book and is partial to a bit of Nordic noir. He is also losing a grip on reality as he becomes increasingly addicted to Instagram...
His many acting credits include, for TV: Call The Midwife, Holby City, Doctors, Eastenders, Footballer's Wives, Casualty, I'm Alan Partridge and The Bill. Film includes: The Trench and Captain Phillips directed by Paul Greengrass. Theatre includes: Philistines (National Theatre), Lord of The Flies (Pilot/ Lyric Hammersmith), a season with Alan Ayckbourn in Scarborough and Equus at Salisbury Playhouse.
Danny's numerous voice-overs include: a number of major TV ad campaigns including being the voice of Halfords and Hot Wheels; promos for the BBC, ABC Online, Discovery Channel, Sky Sports, Channel 4 and Sky One plus a handful of documentaries, to name but a few.
As well as Djing at the Nutty's Disco parties, Danny also DJs at various corporate functions across London and up and down the country- and many a wedding too. He was the resident DJ and Voice of God of Battersea Evolution for Smart Christmas Parties from 2014-2021. He is currently resident DJ at Swingers Crazy Golf Club (City & West End), Skylight (Tobacco Dock & Peckham) and Charlotte Street Hotel.
Danny is also a director. He has directed his own short film, Forward To The Past, theatre on the fringe in London and was the resident director of Peppa Pig Live where he worked in L.A helping to put on the show!
Danny is also delighted, despite the element of exhaustion involved, to be a father! He lives with his wife, Bonnie, son Freddie, daughter Lola and fox red Labrador, Roxy, in West Norwood, South East London.
(FYI, for logistical reasons, not all of our team members are listed here…)

She has a long list of experience working with children from the age of 3 on and off stage. But when she’s not working, you’ll find her baking in the kitchen or making her cat have a dance with her in her very own princess castle of Streatham Hill.
Since graduating Beth has gone onto many productions including: Bye Bye Birdie and Babes In Arms (Ye Old Rose & Crown), two pantomimes, both Peter Pan (Devonshire Park Theatre & De Montfort Hall) but most recently, she was a lead singer on a European Cruise Line, Aida, for 7 months.
-
James Camp, associate entertainer and Danny's assistant
James is from South Cambridgeshire. His twin brother is a teacher, his sister is a nurse and his older brother is a social worker. James decided to continue in the family tradition of worthy and honourable careers by becoming an actor! He graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in 2014.
When not spending the weekends working for Nutty’s as a swashbuckling pirate or gallant knight, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, watching movies in his flat and reading in Dulwich Park (weather dependant!). He is the proud owner of a large stash of Nutty’s Magic Sweets that he manages to resist. Just!
His theatre credits include Jack and the Beanstalk (Hurricane Productions), Twelfth Night (Guildford Shakespeare Company), Guys and Dolls (Cambridge Arts Theatre) and many seasons with the National Youth Theatre.
-
Trev Ellis-Jones, associate entertainer / DJ
Trev likes nothing more than bouncing around his kitchen, with his two young daughters, to the latest chart tunes and this energy is transferred to his Nutty's Discos!
As an actor, Trev has performed in numerous productions in fringe theatres (Tabard, Landor, Baron's Court, Diorama, Wimbledon Theatre studio and at the Edinburgh Fringe), and he even met his wife on stage.
As a DJ, he can regularly be seen at the O2 Academy in Islington and he has also played at a number of large corporate parties, weddings and birthday parties.
Although a proud North Londoner (and Arsenal supporter), Trev has lived "South of the Water" for 16 years, and rather enjoys it!
-
Andy Hamilton, associate entertainer & magician
Andy’s life revolves around music, he loves playing, dancing and listening to it at all possible times! If he’s not playing music, he might be having a cheeky game of football, doing yoga or eating beans on toast!
Andy has been running kids parties since he was 16. Anything from Circus to Pirates or even Transformers!
Over the past few years he has also performed at festivals such as Glastonbury and for children in refugee camps across Greece and Lebanon.
He is now studying Songwriting at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and lives in Crystal Palace, South London.
-
Charlotte Bloomsbury, associate entertainer
Charlotte's favourite thing in the world is playing games. She's silly, energetic and loves telling stories and going on adventures!
Charlotte has worked with young people for 15 years as a drama teacher and in children's theatre as a performer and director.
She trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and, since graduating, has worked with the BBC, ITV, Global Radio and toured the UK with various theatre shows.
When not working Charlotte can be found making overly elaborate cakes or pillow forts. Sometimes both.
-
Faisal DaCosta, associate entertainer
Faisal is one big ball of smiling, happy energy. He loves entertaining for Nutty's, especially Classic Party Games.
As an actor, his TV and film credits include: So Awkward (CBBC), Silent Witness and The Personal History Of David Copperfield.
He is also a fashion designer, theatre writer and director. And if that isn't enough, he is also a PE teacher!
His many hobbies (when he can find the time!) include: badminton, table tennis and exploring nature.
-
Harry Rundle, associate entertainer
Harry loves entertaining children and being silly. He can often be found at parties making them laugh their heads off!
Harry's theatre credits include: Harry Potter & The Cursed Child and The Son (both in the West End).
He has also appeared in the hit BBC TV show Doctors, short films and radio plays.
Harry also loves playing the guitar and hiking in the New Forest!
-
Tom Mackley, associate entertainer
After gaining a degree in Physics, Tom calculated that his next natural step - career wise - should be to become an actor (much to the amusement of his professors... and much to the horror of his parents).
His theatre credits thus far include: Original cast of 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' and 'The Ocean at the End of the Lane' (both West End).
TV credits include: 'Sex Education', 'Ghosts', and 'The Tale of Mr Tumble'.
In his spare time, Tom can be found devouring as many books as possible (someone really needs to tell him that they're meant to be read), playing and listening to music, and having an existential crisis each time that his beloved Leicester City play.
Tom loves entertaining children, going on adventures and being really rather silly!
-
Max Warrick, associate entertainer/DJ
Max is an actor, guitarist, DJ for Nutty's, and voice over artist. Since a young age he has had to deal with a serious addiction to birthday cake and sweets. Since working for Nutty's, this condition has only worsened. The situation is not helped by the fact that, at every party Max attends, children just seem to laugh at him... especially when he keeps falling off his chair!
Theatre credits include: Oliver! (West End), The Shallow End (Southwark Playhouse) and Boys' Life (Etcetera & Kings Head). Television includes: Sadie Smith's White Teeth. Film includes Stealing Elvis and Ill Manors. Max has also voiced numerous corporate films and advertising campaigns on television, radio and online for clients such as: HTC, Starbucks, O2, Channel 4, Sky+, Virgin Atlantic, Seagate and many more.
